In addition to working as a psychologist, I am also a lover of the outdoors and the calming effect of nature. Being outdoors and away from the usual stressors and triggers can help a person gain some perspective, and provide an opportunity for exercise, reflection, and skill-building, contributing to a healthy lifestyle and a positive self-image.
The Calgary Outdoor Rehabilitation Experience (C.O.R.E.) is an opportunity for adults with developmental disabilities to experience the outdoors when they may not normally be able to. As a skilled guide, an experienced behaviour specialist, and a top level Non-Violent Crisis Intervention trainer, I can provide a safe opportunity for an individual with a developmental disability to explore nature.

The rate for this full-day program is $800. As with all services at Alberta Behavioural Psychology, rates are on a sliding scale according to financial need.
