I created Alberta Behavioural Psychology with the goal of making sure that everyone, regardless of what challenges they face, is understood and has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Despite the name, I don't just use behavioural approaches, but I specialize in analyzing and understanding behaviour to help make changes that let you break unhelpful patterns, engage new skills and attitudes, and make progress towards the future you want.

Working with such unique and diverse populations requires a therapeutic approach that is flexible, yet grounded in available research. To accomplish this, I employ a number of evidence-based strategies, including applied behaviour analysis (ABA), positive behaviour supports (PBS), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and parent management training (PMT).
Therapy can look different depending on what your preference is and what your goals are, so I make sure you have all the information to let us work together and decide what approach to therapy is right for you.
